Linda M. Lowery

Lowery – Linda M., 69, East Conemaugh Borough, went to be with the Lord on November 14, 2016 at Conemaugh Medical Center. Born on May 22, 1947 in Johnstown, daughter of Harry and Marie (Yingling) Reighard. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, John. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Roger L. Lowery Sr., East Conemaugh; children, Roger L. Jr., married to the former Bridget Tkacik, New Florence, Mark A. and his companion, Dana MacLaren, East Taylor Township, Paula A., East Conemaugh, Brian T., Ashton, NC, John W., married to the former Alicia Espinal, San Diego, CA, Kim M., wife of Todd M. Crowe, Mineral Point, and Kirk J., married to the former Carole Watroba, East Taylor Township; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Patricia Miller, Johnstown and several nieces and nephews. Linda was a graduate of Conemaugh High School. She was employed as a seamstress at the former J.C. and Me, Hollsopple. Linda was a member of the Church of the Transfiguration. She enjoyed bowling, BINGO, and playing on her computer. Linda loved and was loved by her entire family. She was always willing to help anyone in need. At Linda’s request, there will be no public viewing. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 2 P.M. on Saturday (Nov. 19) at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, with the Rev. Keith Dunn officiating. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family suggests contributions be directed to a charity of one’s choice in memory of Linda.
