Linda Joyce Jefferson

Jefferson, Linda J., 79, of Johnstown, PA went to be with the Lord on April 18, 2025 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born August 5, 1945 to John R. Jefferson and Louise F. (McGinty) Jefferson. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Evelyn (Jefferson) Randolph, John (Beaver) Jefferson, Keith Jefferson, and two of her children, Jeffery and Matthew, the twin of her son, Marcus Jefferson. Linda is survived by siblings, Peggy (Rev. Grant Howard), Judy Haselrig, Donna, Juana, Melania, and Daryl Jefferson all of Johnstown; children, William (Billy) Jefferson of Johnstown, April Wallace of North Carolina, Marcus Jefferson of Virginia, and Teena (Whitfield) Mitchell (Dale Mitchell) of Johnstown; 14 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and special friend Robert McFarlin. Linda graduated at the top of her class in 1962 at Greater Johnstown High School and further pursued her education in business law at Cambria Rowe Business College. Linda also worked in the hospitality industry until her medical conditions prevented her from further employment. Linda was noted to be an avid Interior Decorator and enjoyed doing so. She also enjoyed playing spades, solitaire, bid whist, solving number problems, and spending time with her family. She always lit the room with her playful sense of humor. But most of all, Linda loved talking about the Lord and studying her Bible. She carried a deep love for the Lord, her children, and her family in her heart. Linda will truly be missed. Friends and family will be received on Friday April 25th at Stevens Memorial Holy Church, 314 William Penn Avenue, Johnstown, PA, 15901 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. and Saturday April 26th from 10:00 am until funeral services at 11:00 am.
