Lillian P. Miller

MILLER—Lillian P., 85, Johnstown, passed away while surrounded by her loving husband and son, Mike on Aug. 13, 2024 at home. Born June 18, 1939, in Johnstown, daughter of Charles and Olive (Allison) Block. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Charles Block, Don Block and Henry Block. Survived by husband of 68 years, Thomas H. Miller Sr., children, Thomas H. Miller Jr. and wife, Sandy, Johnstown; Bryan D. Miller, Johnstown; James R. Miller and Jodi, Windber; and Michael K. Miller and wife, Amy, Johnstown; also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. Sister of Betty Daily, Johnstown; Barbara Demaggio, Michigan; Joanne Marks, Johnstown and Linda Cairns, Greensburg. Lillian was the office manager for her husband’s contracting business. She was a member of Arbutus Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed gardening, raising vegetables, fruits and flowers, baking and taking care of her home and family. Her light-heartedness and laughing at herself will be missed. We will remember her saying, “I just have to laugh.” Lillian will be missed dearly by her family and all who knew her. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2024 at Arbutus Church of the Brethren with Rev. Guy Myers officiating.
