Cochran, Lillian D., 93, of Richland. Died June 27, 2019, at home. Born June 25, 1926, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late William A. and Lillian (Coyle) Davis. Also preceded in death by husband, Walter J. Cochran; siblings William A. (Margaret), Earl, Mary Margaret (James) Saylor, Kathleen (John) Boring, Ruth Boyer, and Bernice (Paul) Sharbaugh; and brother in law, John Cochran. Survived by children: Dianne Mohan, Philadelphia; Christie (Nick) Arena, NC; James, at home; Cynthia (John) Orlovsky; and Patrick (Janet), CA; grandchildren, Nick (Kitty) Arena, Shannon (Chad) Stites, , Andrew (Rebecca) Orlovsky and Eric (Yamila) Orlovsky; great grandchildren, Haley, Joseph, Will, Alyson, Jack, Hawken, Lillian, Elizabeth and Vincent; sister in law of Harry Boyer; and Lois Cochran. Lillian was “Aunt Lummie” to many nieces and nephews. A 1944 graduate of Ferndale High School. She attended Penn State University. Lillian was an active member of First Presbyterian Church, Windber. Retired in 1987 as a social worker with the PA Dept. of Welfare. Also formerly employed by Windber Hospital. She enjoyed arts and crafts, especially sewing, quilting and knitting. Lillian was a member of the Salix Stitchers and Log Cabin Quilters Guild for many years. The family would like to thank Interim Health Care and Hospice for their care of Lillian. No public viewing, however relatives and friends are invited to attend a service on July 20, 2019, at Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum at 11 am. Rev. Cynthia Cadenhead, officiating. Family will receive friends at Asiago’s following the service. The family is being served by Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
