Leta Blanche Easterbrook

Easterbrook, Leta Blanche, 93, Pettikoffer House, Windber, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Windber Hospice. Born on June 24, 1918 in Confluence, Somerset County. Daughter of Robert Forest and Eva Tannehill. Preceded in death by husband Calvin Easterbrook, sisters Mildred Wilson and Mary Woods, and brothers Clark, Glenn and Walter Earl Tannehill. Survived by daughter, Tanna Csikos, son-in-law Dr. David Csikos, grandchildren David and Joy, grandson-in-law Thomas Anders, and nephews and nieces too numerous to list. Leta graduated from Conemaugh Memorial Hospital nursing training program, and she cared for her patients for 44 years before retiring. She loved animals and enjoyed gardening. Service to be held Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home in Richland. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 2 pm. Rev. Earl Janssen officiating. Private interment at Richland Cemetery. Family suggests donations to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, Pa. 15963 (Online condolences may be posted to www.wharrisfuneralhome.com)
