Lester E. Sellers

Sellers – Lester E., 75, Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on January 31, 2022. Born on February 2, 1946 in Johnstown, son of the late Paul and Lavadia (Orris) Sellers. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Helen R. (Beatty) Sellers; children, Bradley and his fiancée, Tammy Moyer, Melissa (Don) Box; grandchildren, Dylan, Devin, and Savannah; brothers, Calvin, Walter, William, and Robert; sister, Lavadia Miller; several nieces, nephews, and his beloved dog, Butchie “Max”. Lester was a 1965 graduate of Johnstown High School. He was a US Marine Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Lester retired from PENELEC after 32 years of service as a Lineman. He was a member of Homestead Avenue United Methodist Church and American Legion Post #880, Richland. Lester enjoyed a beer or two, but especially loved going to the beach and spending time with his entire family. Private service will be held at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Carol H. Hickman officiating. Private entombment will be at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum.
