LeRoy E. Boughter

Boughter  -  LeRoy E. Jr., “Butch”, 59, of East Conemaugh Borough, passed away on May 16, 2015 at his residence. He was born on November 25, 1955 in Harrisburg, PA. Son of the late LeRoy E. Sr. and Viola M. (Schweers) Boughter. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty A. (Hill) Boughter, East Conemaugh; children, Trista A. Brown, East Conemaugh, Shawn F. Brown, married to the former Kristian Getz, Lancaster, PA, and Amanda L. Echeverri, Richlands, NC; grandsons, Justin, Kayden, and Emilio; siblings, Loretta, wife of David Dewalt, Shamokin, PA, Carole Biesecker, Middletown, PA, John P., married to the former Joni Nentwig, Manheim, PA, David, married to the former Cyndi Way, Richlands, NC, Robert, married to the former Dee Oweiler, Linglestown, PA, and Donna, wife of Curtis Weber, Middletown, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. Butch was a 1973 graduate of Elizabethtown High School. He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Persian Gulf War. Butch was employed at the Lancaster County Prison as a security guard. He later went to work and retired in 2002 from the Lancaster County Assistance Office as a mail carrier. Butch attended the Bethany Presbyterian Church, and also was a Boy Scout Master in Lancaster, PA. He was an avid Yankee’s fan and enjoyed fishing, flea markets, and watching Son’s of Anarchy, and the Walking Dead. Butch loved spending time with his entire family, especially his grandchildren. Family and friends will be received from noon until time of service at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First Street, Conemaugh PA 15909, with the Rev. Drew Walther officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by Menoher Post #155 V.F.W. Ritual Team at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
