Leo A. Levi Jr.

Levi – Leo A. Jr., 88, of Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on September 22, 2016 at LaurelWood Care Center. Born on July 28, 1928 in Bellefonte, PA, son of Leo A. Sr. and Beatrice R. (Cupp) Levi. Preceded in death by his parents, and daughter, Deborah A Levi-Mayberry. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Anita T. (Slomanson) Levi, Richland Township; children, Todd J. (Cindy), Braselton, GA, Ricki L. (Roland) Lorans, Hoschton, GA, and Jacqueline A. (John) Hahn, Greensburg, PA; son-in-law, J. Patrick Mayberry, Johnstown; sisters, Hermine Lee, Pittsford, NY and Sharon Scaletta, Johnstown; 11 grandchildren, Troy, Samantha, Hillary, Alexander, Adam, Shayna, Austin, Brandon, Maura, Brian, and Kevin; 4 great grandchildren, Mason, Addison, Dreyanna, and Dreden; several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Leo was a US Army Veteran serving during WWII. He was owner and operator of the former Levi Paving Company for 13 years and also part owner of Allegheny Mountain Antique Gallery. Leo enjoyed walking every week day at the Galleria, movies, music and animals. He loved cooking and shopping, but especially loved spending time with his entire family. Friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. on Thursday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. David Streets officiating. Interment will be at Richland Cemetery with military rites conducted by Menoher Post #155 VFW Ritual Team. The family suggests contributions be directed to Cambria County Humane Society, 743 Galleria Drive Ext, Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Leo.
