Leanore D. "Lynne" Spengler

Spengler, Leanore D. “Lynne”, (Johnson), 88, died December 15, 2020. Born July 1, 1932, in St. Michael, PA, daughter of Harry and Mildred (Wingard) Johnson. Preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Robert D. Spengler in 1988; Brother C. Blaine Johnson; Paternal Grandparents, Charles and Carrie Johnson who helped raise her following the death of her mother in 1944; Maternal grandparents, Dora and Jacob Wingard, nephew, Paul Spengler; and a dear friend, Kim Williams. Survived by two Sons: Robert, married to Jayne (Miller) Spengler, of Bridgewater, NJ; Michael, married to Laura (Laczko) Spengler, of Hollsopple, PA; Grandchildren; Joanne Strutzel, Daniel Rosenburg, married to Jessica; Gretta Lynne (Spengler), married to Brian Chamish; Codi Lynn (Spengler), married to Donald Mielnik; Lucas Tyler Spengler, married to Bethany (Brenchak); Great Grandchildren, Alexander and Kathryn Strutzel, Evelyn and Benjamin Rosenberg, and Josie Spengler; Chosen Grandson, Tommy Williams, married to Megan; and Chosen Great-Grandchildren, Jet, Julian, and Kenley Williams; God Child Tracy Lynne Ashbrook, and many more beloved family members. Lynne was an active member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church in her prime, where she taught the winter Sunday School Classes, was a member of the United Methodist Women’s Group, Chairperson for the Worship Committee, and in charge of the Harvest Home Fund. She was also assistant manager of Spencer Gifts in the Richland Mall and retired from Sears, along with being a member of the East Hills Red Hat Society. Lynne had a great sense of humor and brought many laughs to her children and grandchildren. Her smile could light up a room. Rejoice with her as she joins her husband and her Lord Jesus Christ.
