Kathryn L. Moore

Moore, Kathryn L., 54, of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on April 20, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on September 12, 1957 in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Robert and Terry Moore. She is survived by her loving fiancée and best friend, Edward M. Friend Jr., Johnstown; brothers, James and Wayne Moore both of FL; several nieces, nephews and many friends, including special friend, Cozette Hupkovich. Kathryn was a 1975 graduate of Conemaugh Township High School. She was owner and operator of Budget Blinds of South Johnstown. Kathryn enjoyed being outdoors and riding with Ed on their motorcycle and also riding with the Gold Wing Group. She loved watching eagles, traveling with Ed and spending time with her dogs, Joy and Sheba. Kathryn will be remembered as a kind, thoughtful and loving person, who will be sadly missed. At Kathryn’s request there will be no public viewing. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of Ed. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. The family suggests contributions be directed to the American Cancer Society, Central Region, Cambria Unit, 350 Budfield Street, Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Kathryn.
