Horner – Kathleen C., 72, Hollsopple, went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2024. Born on September 15, 1951 in Johnstown, daughter of William and Elizabeth (Shaffer) McCusker. Preceded in death by her parents; Niece, Heidi Allison, and brother-in-law, Alan Beppler.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Robert J. Horner; siblings, Thomas (Sue) McCusker, Bath, ME, Colleen Beppler, Homer City, PA, Eileen (Tim) Myers, Johnstown, and Barbara (Richard) Wissinger, Windber; mother-in-law, Joann Horner, Fort Mill, SC; brothers-in-law, Ed (Diana) Horner, Charlotte, NC, and Brian (Terry) Horner, Ft. Myers, FL, and several nieces and nephews, including special nieces and nephews, Michael, Amanda, Tammy, Mason, T.J., Joey, Billy, Kaitlyn, Chase, and Megan.
Kathleen was a graduate of Johnstown High School. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. Kathleen and her husband, Bob, were owners and operators of the former Amish House in Johnstown and Berlin, OH. Afterward she was employed as a realtor. She enjoyed traveling, going on cruises and car shows. Kathleen loved spending time with her entire family. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor and will be dearly missed.
Friends will be received from noon until time of Memorial Service at 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, Fr. David S. Peles. Private entombment will be at Richland Mausoleum. The family suggests contributions be directed to any Veteran organization in memory of Kathleen.
