Kathleen M. Heckman

Heckman, Kathleen M. of Jenner Twp. entered Heaven on August 9, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. Kathleen was born on April 6, 1948. Daughter of the late Vince and Dorothy Gunderson and foster/adopted daughter of the late Harve and Nora Thomas. Preceded in death by her husband, James R. Heckman and adopted brother, Randy Thomas. Survived by her loving daughter, Amanda Rose Heckman, Jenner Township; sisters, Judy Klein, Monroeville, PA, Joann Miller, FL; adopted brother, Blair Thomas, Hollsopple and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Kathleen was a 1966 graduate of JBJ High School. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her pets, as well as gardening, crafting, culinary arts and planting seeds of flowers and faith. Kathleen was employed as a bank teller for 10 years, but Kathleen’s devotion and the work of her heart was as a wife and mother whose love was constant and unconditional. At Kathleen’s request there will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday at Jenner Township Baptist Church. Inurnment will be held at St. James Cemetery, Jenner Twp. at the convenience of the family.
