Kathleen L. Geiser

Geiser, Kathleen L., 84, of Oakland.  Died July 29, 2014 at Arbutus Park Manor.  Born June 23, 1930 in Johnstown.  Daughter of the late Louis F. and Catherine (Gill) Midderhoff.  Also preceded in death by a brother Louis and grandson Richard in infancy.  Survived by husband of 63 years, Ronald C. Geiser; children, Christine A. and husband Gregory Glova; Rene L. and husband Victor Hrescak (Hollidaysburg); Mark A. and wife Kathi (Robison) Geiser and Michele (Geiser) Stager. Also survived by 6 grandchildren; Justin, Megan, Kristin, Abbey, Amanda, and Taylor. Also 7 great grandchildren; Kayleigh, Jacob, Jordan, Ty, Joshua, Justice and Lyla.  Survived by her sister Barbara A. (Jack) Shearer all of Johnstown. Graduate of Dale High school class of 1949. A member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown.  Friends received 4-8 PM Friday, at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil service will be held.  Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am Saturday at St. Benedict Church.  Father David S. Peles, pastor.  Committal at Grandview Cemetery.  Family suggests donations to St. Benedict Catholic Church or Arbutus Park Manor in memory of Kathleen.
