Kathleen A. Fry

Fry – Kathleen A., "Kathy", 62, Elton, went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2022. Born on December 30, 1959, in Johnstown, daughter of Blaine and Ann Marie (Bothe) Beckner. Preceded in death by her parents; and an infant sister, Cindy.

She is survived by his loving husband of 42 years, Howard W. Fry; son, Seth W., Elton; brothers, Robert “Bob” (Crystal) Beckner, Litiz, PA and Scott Beckner, Johnstown; aunt, Rose Eline; nieces, Erica, and Amy and many friends.

Kathleen was a 1978 graduate of Bishop McCort High School. She retired from PA Department of Welfare after over 24 years of service as a Clerical Supervisor. After retirement, she was employed in the family business, Fry Ventures Inc. Kathleen was a member of Pyrotechnic Artists Inc., Adams Township Lions Club, and was a past Union member officer. She enjoyed traveling, Casinos, stained glass, and her son’s hockey career. She loved her husband and son more than anything and will be missed dearly.

At Kathleen’s request, there will be no public viewing or service. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family suggests contributions be directed to Adams Township Lion’s Club, P.O. Box 163, Sidman, PA 15963 in memory of Kathleen.
