Jurettia Montgomery

Montgomery, Jurettia, 82, Johnstown. Died Dec. 19, 2013, at Cambria Care Center. Born Dec. 14, 1931, in Midway, AL. Daughter of the late Emmanuel and Carrie (Moore) Arnold. Also preceded in death by first husband, Charlie C. Boykin and second husband, Walter Montgomery; and brothers and sisters; and great grandchild. Survived by son Theotis (Brenda Yancey) Boykin, Johnstown and step-daughter, Pam (Earl) Nash, Johnstown; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sisters, Mattie Norton, New York, NY and Irene James, AL; sister-in-law of Ruth Hollifield, Doris Haselrig and Mattie Charles; also numerous nieces and nephews. Retired from PA State School at Ebensburg. Member of Mt. Sinai Institutional Baptist Church, Conemaugh, where she served as Deaconess, Adult Choir member, Missionary Society and Kitchen Ministry. Friends received 3 to 8 pm Sunday at Mt. Sinai Institutional Baptist Church, Conemaugh. Funeral Service at 10 AM Monday at Mt. Sinai Church. Pastor Ronald Morris and Pastor Julius Porcher, officiating.  Interment at Benshoff Hill Cemetery. Family suggests donations to Mt. Sinai Institutional Baptist Church Building Fund, 351 2nd St. Conemaugh, PA 15909 in memory of Jurettia. Family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
