June Elsie Seese

Seese – June Elsie, 77, Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on April 20, 2016 at Ebensburg Cambria Care Center.  Born on November 10, 1938 in Seesetown (Sidman), Cambria County, PA, daughter of Orlando D. and Ann E. (Wilson) Seese. Preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Elizabeth Beers-Bush, Orlando Jr. “Landy”, Raymond, Walter, Roy, David and “sister” Shirley Klett.  She is survived by sister-in-law, Judy Seese of Salem, OH; numerous nephews and nieces, but was especially close to her niece, Linda Seese Horne, Richland Township.  June was employed as a seamstress for 10 years at Bali-Bra, but she was devoted to caring for her mother until her passing in 1984.  She enjoyed reading, watching television, and participating in the activities at Cambria Care Center.  She liked things done “her way on her schedule” and would certainly question any changes. The staff could count on June to voice her support for others when she thought they were being wronged. Joking and sarcasm along with a deep belly laugh was a trademark. We want to thank her many “favorite” employees of the first floor of the Cambria Care Center, and her “best” roommate Donna McCale for the love, compassion and friendship shown June while it was her home.  They became her family. At June’s request there will be no public viewing. Family and friends are invited to attend the graveside service on Saturday, May 21st at 11:00 AM Dunmyer Cemetery.
