Spiker – Julia “Judy”, 90, formerly of Johnstown, PA, died December 20, 2016 at her son’s home in Kittanning, PA. Born on Nov. 17, 1926 in Cairnbrook, PA, daughter of Charles and Nancy (Lempel) Radyk. Preceded in death by her husband, C. Kennard Spiker on Nov. 24, 1986; parents; two brothers: John and Father Michael Radyk and daughter-in-law, Wanda (Hoffman) Spiker. Survived by daughter, Rebecca (Rev. Richard) Reigle, Allentown, PA; sons: Thomas (Carol) Spiker, Kittanning, PA, Robert (Jacqueline) Spiker, Carrollton, VA, and Jerry (Faye) Spiker, Naples, Italy; 8 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 15 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters: Mary (Samuel) Kaniuk, Pittsburgh, PA; Helen (Charles) Chalupa, Brecksville, OH; and Ann (Edward) Kramer, Kenmore, NY. Judy was a member of Somerset Alliance Church, Somerset, PA. For many years she worked as a truck dispatcher for several different trucking companies and was a former agent for New York Life Insurance Company. At Judy’s request there will be no public viewing. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the immediate family. Private interment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Judy’s family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. The family suggests memorials be directed to either Child Evangelism of Pennsylvania - Cambria County Chapter or to The Gideon’s International in memory of Julia.
