Kabler, Judith A., âMagaâ, 70, of Belmont, went to be with the Lord on October 15, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. Born on July 12, 1943 in Johnstown. Daughter of Paul J. and Dorothy G. (Slagle) Baumbaugh. Preceded in death by parents; husband, James B. Kabler Jr.; sister, Delores Albaugh and a brother-in-law, Fred MacNeel. She is survived by her loving sons, Eric P., married to the former Jodi L. Fieser, Erin P., and Ethan P., married to the former Jenn S. Billotte, all of Johnstown; grandchildren, Cortney, Kassidi, Kelsey, Benjamin, Nellie, Grace, Abraham, and Cambria; sisters, Bonnie MacNeel, Franklin, OH and Patricia, wife of William Reddecliff, Boonsboro, MD; brother-in-law, Robert Albaugh, Johnstown and nieces and nephews as follows, Bobbijean Weigle (Dwight), Kim Korenoski (Pete), Sandi Meyers (Blaise), Vicki Watts (Matt), Shari MacNeel, Lauri MacNeel, David MacNeel (Carolyn), Josh MacNeel (Shannon), Ian Reddecliff (Melanie), Jason Reddecliff , Jill Reddecliff; many great nieces and nephews; her 2 chocolate labs, Wonka and Danzig and numerous friends, including special long time friend, Lanny Grieff Sr., Sidman. Judy was a 1961 graduate of Greater Johnstown High School. She was employed at McQuaide Trucking in the dispatch department and later retired in 2011 after 17 years of service from Conemaugh Hospital as a Switch Board Operator. Judy was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren, where she served on the church board and on various committees, including the church representative for the American Cancer Society âDaffodil Daysâ. She was an active participant for the Cambria County Republican Party. Judy also assisted in organizing the J.H.S. Class of 61 Reunions. She will be remembered for her âAunt Judyâs Fudgeâ, which was a 7 time Blue Ribbon winner at the Cambria County Fair. It was a treat at family gatherings, holidays and camping at the Indy 500. Judyâs career and life was her children and especially her grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7-9 P.M. on Wednesday and 2-4 and 5-8 P.M. on Thursday and from 9 A.M. until time of service at 10 A.M. on Friday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Phillip King officiating. Interment will be at Richland Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to one of Judyâs special great nieces, Natalie Meyers, who has a rare autoimmune disease.
