Joyce Ingeborg Weaver

Weaver, Joyce Ingeborg,74, of Richland, died unexpectedly January 1, 2023. Born March 31, 1948, in Windber, PA., daughter of John L. and I. Marie (Williamson) Weaver. Preceded in death by her parents and infant brother.  Survived by sisters Penelope Weaver, Jacqueline Weaver, Cynthia (Daniel) Weimer, Jane (Duane) Devett, brother Timothy (Diane) Weaver and many beloved nieces and nephews.  Joyce was also blessed with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.  She is also survived by her lifelong best friend, Beverly Blanchetti, and her family. Joyce graduated from Richland High School in 1967. Following graduation, she moved to Herndon, VA, and was employed for many years at Dulles International Airport and later at Target. She returned to Richland after her retirement. Joyce was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Windber, PA. before it closed in December 2017.  She then attended Westmont Presbyterian Church. Joyce had a generous heart, enjoyed spending time with her family and never missed an opportunity to honor another’s birthday, anniversary, or successes. Joyce will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Friends received from 10 am to 11 am time of service Monday Jan. 9, at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Rev. James Farrer, officiating. Private inurnment at Richland Cemetery. Cremation by Laurel Highlands Crematory at Harris Funeral Home.
