Josephine Campagna

Campagna, Josephine “Jo”, 90, Forest Hills Personal Care Home, Sidman, formerly of Johnstown. Died Nov. 9, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Sept. 25, 1924, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Nicholas and Carmela (Turturici) Campagna. Also preceded in death by brothers, Anthony and Sam. Survived by brothers, Michael (Betty) and Frank (Betty dec’d) Campagna, with whom she resided for many years; special niece, Carmella Meiklejohn and numerous nieces and nephews. Josephine worked at her brothers’ grocery stores for many years. She was an avid reader and loved crocheting. Past member of the Legion of Mary and member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown. The family would like to thank all who took care of Josephine at Forest Hills Personal Care Home and Conemaugh Hospice. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil service will be held.
