Joseph Carl Bittman III

BITTMAN—Joseph C. III, 84, Richland, passed away March 6, 2021. Born December 27, 1936, in Johnstown, son of Joseph Carl Jr. and Elsie (McGarry) Bittman. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Mary Ann (Macri) Bittman, daughter, Jean Wholaver and granddaughters, Victoria and Elizabeth Wholaver. Survived by children, Michelle Lilley (Robert), Alabama; Joanna Skowron (Keith), Johnstown; Lisa Sender (Kurt), Johnstown; Sara Davis (Logan), Johnstown and Marianne Mele, Virginia; grandchildren, R.J., Ava, Sam, Travis, Eldora, Mason and Marina; great-grandchildren, Logan, Carleigh, Olivia, Sullivan and Madison Rose.  Joe retired from U.S. Steel with over 30 years of service. Longtime active member of the Elks and he was an avid golfer. Active member of local social clubs. Joe will be missed by his family very much.
