John S. "Punch" Zajdel

ZAJDEL---John S. “Punch,” 68, Parkhill, passed away on May 29, 2022 at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 16, 1953, in Johnstown, son of Theodore and Rose (Gasior) Zajdel. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Sharon Zajdel, brothers, James and Stefan Zajdel and former wife, Christine Zajdel. Survived by children, Nikita Dite and Jonathan Zajdel, both of Parkhill, brothers, David, Parkhill and Theodore “Tudge,” Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews. John enjoyed fishing, boating and camping at Lake Raystown and he was also an avid Steelers fan. He also loved his dog, Jazz. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday June 4, 2022 at the Pavilion at Hinckston Run Dam. The family is being served by Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First St., Conemaugh.
