Derevjanik , John, 81 of Lillington, NC., formerly of Mentor on the lake, Ohio and Johnstown, Pa. Died October 12, 2011, at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital, Dunn, NC. Born August 23, 1930. Son of Vasil and Katherine (Strank) Derevjanik. Preceded in death by loving wife, Dolores Derevjanik; sisters, Ann Kindya, Martha Long, Mary Tenga and Brother Michael Derevjanik. Children; Roxanne C. married to Jeff Bunn of Lillington, NC and John V. Derevjanik and his wife Ann of San Diego, CA. Grandfather of Jeffrey A. Bunn, Jessica and Nicholas Derevjanik and many nieces, nephews and their families. Brother of Helen Naugle, Conemaugh, Irene Kassick, Johnstown, Julie Witkosky, Franklin Boro; and Brother Nick Derevjanik of Mentor on the Lake, OH. John was a US Marine veteran of the Korean War. He retired as an employee of Easton Axle of Cleveland, OH, as a tool and die maker. His love of life, family and traveling was evident in every story he told.
