Candler, John B., 68, Somerset, formerly of Vinco. Died Jan. 2, 2017, at home. Born Jan. 31, 1948, in Johnstown. Son of the late John D. and Eileen M. (Bowen) Candler. Survived by siblings; Cheryl (Harlan) Fricke, Hanover, PA; Patty Bickel, Glendale, PA; Michelle (William) Bimeal, Rochester, PA; Lisa Moore, Cranberry, PA; and Jeanine (Kenneth) Hite, Carrolltown, PA.; uncle of Christopher, Matthew and Ken Hite; Bryce and Glenn Fricke; Jennifer McGee and Sean Brennan; and Meagan Moore. Graduate of St. Fidelis Seminary, Butler, PA and Penn State University. A Navy Veteran of Vietnam War serving on the USS John F. Kennedy. John worked at various jobs during his life. Member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Somerset. A Blessing Service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday Jan. 10, 2017, at Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh. Inurnment at Grandview Cemetery.
