Brickner, John W., 69, of Geistown Borough, passed away on February 9, 2011 at his residence. He was born August14, 1941 in Johnstown. Son of the late James and Janet (Geist) Brickner. Survived by former wife, Kay (Roxby) Brickner; children, Brad married to the former Judy Rudnik, New Florence, John married to the former Mary Boltz, Hampton, VA, Robert, Altoona, Lee Anne wife of William Langham, Johnstown and Dawn wife of Matt Geiser, Brownstown; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-granddaughters; brother, James (Sally) Brickner, Glendale and several nieces and nephews. John was a 1960 graduate of Westmont High School. He was a US Navy Veteran. He retired from Bethlehem Steel where he was employed as a clerk. John enjoyed fishing, hunting and building model airplanes. He will be remembered for his dry wit and his loyal dedication to our country and Armed Forces. Friends received from 3-7 P.M. on Sunday and one hour prior to service at 10 A.M. on Monday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
