DICK---Jodi Lynn (Welsh) Dick, 62, of South Fork, PA passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, October 17, 2022. She was born on August 31, 1960, in Somerset, PA, to the late Ralph C. ("Bud") and Gladys (Albright) Welsh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Stephen Welsh and Ralph Welsh, III, and three sisters, Denise (“Niecy”) Welsh, Nellie Wright, and Diane (“Diroo”) Eversole. She is survived by her partner of more than 20 years, Mark (“Moe”) Bonk of South Fork, PA, and his family Rose and Edward Bonk, Krystin Bonk, Roxanne (“Rocky”) Altemus, Mike Bonk, Anthony Bonk, Eddie (“Dude”) Bonk, Di Sobecky, Kathy Bonk, Jenna Altemus, Ana Timko (Steve), and Tristan and Brendan Timko. She is also survived by her three children: daughter, Katie Santiago and husband Luis, of Severn, MD; son, Shane Dick, of Cumberland, MD; and, daughter Sarah Lockwood and husband Ben, of Carlisle, PA. Additionally, she is survived by her grandson, Ryder, of Severn, MD, and grandchild, Baby Lockwood (expected soon). She is also survived by good friend and ex-husband, William Dick, of Cumberland, MD. Additionally, she is survived by nephew, Peter, and nieces, Heather, Amanda, and Missy. Jodi was a graduate of Somerset High School. She worked hard throughout her life in the hope of providing a better life for not only herself but her family. She worked as a bartender and always had loyal customers/friends at every location she worked. Jodi loved making people laugh. She knew how to light up a room with her eccentric and witty personality. She had a genuine laugh and rare comedic timing that came naturally. Jodi developed an ear for music at a young age, when her father, Bud, introduced her to bluegrass. He would often play guitar for her as a child until she would fall asleep. Jodi had many fond memories growing up in Somerset, PA with her siblings and close cousins. She will be missed dearly by her friends and family. At Jodi’s request, there will be no public viewing. Friends will be received for visitation from 1 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 24, 2022, at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Johnstown, PA 15904.
