JoAnn Gay

Gay – JoAnn, 71, Vinco, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 15, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. Born on May 24, 1943 in Johnstown, daughter of Geraldine Gutteridge. Preceded in death by her mother; infant granddaughter, Taylor Sand; and brothers, Lewis “Sonny” and Dean Gutteridge. She is survived by her loyal and loving husband of 51 years, Frank L. Gay Sr., Vinco; daughter, Tammy, wife of Frank Sral, Vinco; son Frank L. Jr., and his fiancé, Erin French, Harrisburg, PA; grandchildren, Spencer and Mackenzi Gay, Trinity Sral, and Ashley Gensemer; sisters, Jeanette, wife of Daniel Gwinn, Ashville, OH, Janet, wife of Kevin Curtis, Mineral Point; brother, Frank (Diane) Gutteridge, Hagerstown, MD; cousin and best friend, Bonnie Gay, and numerous nieces and nephews. JoAnn was employed for over 15 years by Springleaf Finance, Ebensburg. She accepted her Lord and Savior May 15, 1972 and attended Ebensburg Evangelical Bible Church. JoAnn enjoyed cooking and was a master baker and kept a meticulous home. She was a partner in life to her husband and a blessing to him, her children, and her grandchildren. They were the loves of her life. JoAnn will be grievously missed by all that knew her. Family and friends will be received from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, with the Rev. Marvin E. Lowery and Pastor Rob Osborn officiating. Interment will be at Headricks Union Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to Ebensburg Evangelical Bible Church, 130 Belair Street, Revloc, PA 15948 in memory of JoAnn.
