JoAnn F. Buterbaugh

Buterbaugh, JoAnn F., “Minga”, 61, of Stonycreek Township, went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center, after complications due to heart surgery in July 2013. She was born on January 27, 1953 in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Leo and Eleanor Pohalski. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, William L. Buterbaugh, Stonycreek Township; children, Ronald L. Schrengost, Johnstown, Stephanie L., wife of Bruce G. Guyan, Mundys Corner, and Justin R. Schrengost, married to the former Christina A. Cummings, South Fork, PA; grandchildren, Zachary P. and Tara N. Guyan, and Avery A. and Emily A. Schrengost; many friends and her companions, Bo and Maggie. JoAnn was 1971 graduate of Johnstown High School. She was employed as a Shop Steward at Gee Bee Jr. and later retired in 2008, after 18 years of service, from UFCW, Local #23, where she was employed as a Union Representative. JoAnn enjoyed shopping and home decorating. She loved spending time with her kids and grandchildren. At JoAnn’s request there will be no public viewing, however family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 9 A.M. until time of memorial service at 10 A.M. on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, Rev. Cleo Carr officiating. Inurnment will be at Richland Cemetery. Contributions may be directed to the Humane Society of Cambria County, 743 Galleria Dr, Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of JoAnn.
