Jene K. Younkin

Younkin, Jene K., 64, of Hume, VA. Died Aug. 5, 2014 in VA. Born October 29, 1949, in Brookville, PA.  Daughter of Allan W. and Sarah J. (Armstrong) Porsch.  Preceded in death by her father.  Survived by mother, Emporium, PA; loving husband, Gary A. Younkin; siblings, Raymond (Susan Younkin) Porsch, Johnstown, PA; Marilyn (Eric) Erickson, Emporium, PA; Curtis Porsch, Waterloo, NY; and Lesley Clark, San Pedro, CA.  Also 7 nieces and nephews and 1 great niece.  A 1967 graduate of Cameron County High School and attended Edinboro University of PA.  Longtime employee of The Fauquier Bank, Warrenton, VA. Jene enjoyed travelling, cooking, gardening, and her home and farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains.  She was kind and generous to all she knew. She will be greatly missed by family, friends, and her dog, Bode.  At Jene’s request, there will be a private funeral with a graveside service at Sanford Cemetery, Emporium, PA, with Rev.
