Jean M. Dernar

Dernar, Jean M., 77, Vinco. Died September 12, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 24, 1935, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Yuntz. Also preceded in death by husband, John Jr., in 2007; and sister, Dorothy Janiga. Survived by daughters, Christine, wife of Barry Allbaugh, Avon, Ohio; and Eva, wife of Brian Crist, Johnstown; and son, John III, married to the former Monica Bolha, Suwanee, GA; grandchildren, Justin, married to the former Rebecca Uksas, Jacob Allbaugh, Brianna, John IV and Edwin Dernar; and Lacey Crist; sister Janet, wife of Robert Sedei and brother Donald Yuntz, married to the former Louise Winder. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Jean was a lifetime member of Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church, Conemaugh. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be sadly missed. At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation, however, relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy at 11 am Saturday at Holy Trinity Church. Fr. John Spontak, Officiating. Interment at Church Cemetery. The family suggests that contributions be directed to Holy Trinity Church, 217 Fourth St., Conemaugh, PA 15909, in memory of Jean. Family is being served by the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel.
