Jay D. Fetterman

Fetterman – Jay D., 62, Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on May 13, 2015 at his residence. Born on June 10, 1952 in Johnstown, son of A. Hobart Fetterman and Geraldine R. (Teeter) Fetterman. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward; and aunts, Fay Hart and Gwen J. Volk. He is survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Jay was a 1970 graduate of Johnstown High School. After high school he earned a degree in Accounting from Cambria Rowe Business College. He was employed in the Accounting Departments at Holiday Inn East, Harrisburg, and later retired from Costco in May of 2014. Jay was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Johnstown. He enjoyed playing pinochle at St. Theresa’s Card Club and the Senior Citizens Center as well as billiards in Windber. At Jay’s request there will be no public viewing. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery, with the Rev. Alice Tondora officiating. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
