Janice Charlene Palso

Palso – Janice Charlene, 73, East Conemaugh, went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2024 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on March 20, 1951 in Johnstown. 

Preceded in death by her parents, Francis W. “Bull” and Sara R. (Goss) Santa; sister, Judy George-Mardis; brother, Blain “Bucky” George; nieces, Joyce Mardis, and Sherry George; best friends, Maryann Moore and Dorene Cooper.

She is survived by her loving sister, Beatrice Joyce Santa, East Conemaugh; brother-in-law, Ron Mardis, Mundys Corner, and several nieces and nephews. 

Janice was a 1969 graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School. She was a member of the former First Presbyterian Church, East Conemaugh. Janice also belonged to South Fork American Legion Post #653. Her family would like to thank the staff at 8^th floor Ashman for their compassion and care.

At Janice’s request there will be no viewing. Private burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family is being served by the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh.
