Janet E. Johns

Johns, Janet E., 92, of Jackson Township, died on January 27, 2020, at Rebekah Manor, Ebensburg. She was born January 25, 1928 in Johnstown, daughter of Herbert and Dora C. (Gramling) Mintmier. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Lionel B. Johns; daughter, Linda Toy and brothers, Clyde, Charles, Richard, Ralph and Karl. Survived by daughters, Bonnie K., wife of Lynn McCann, Jackson Township, Brenda J. wife of Thair Bush, Middle Taylor Township and Patricia J., wife of Dr. Ned Novsam, Racine, WI; grandchildren, John and Jeremy (Kelly) McCann, Jessica (Michael) Rager, Bradley Toy, Tricia (Jacob) Cartner and Jason (Sarah) Novsam; great-grandchildren, Sloane, Harlie, Jordan, Alyssa, Spencer, Dakota, Corban and Sage; and numerous nieces and nephews. Janet was a graduate of Franklin High School. She was a member of the Ebensburg Evangelical Bible Church. Janet was an avid reader and enjoyed camping. She will be remembered as a kind and loving mother, grandmother and friend. Friends received from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh where Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Cliff Ritchey officiating. Internment, Grandview Cemetery. The family would like to thank Joyce and Angela for all of the special care they gave to our mom.
