Jane Louise Knepper

KNEPPER- Jane Louise (Teeter), 75, Johnstown went to be with Lord, passing away peacefully at home on January 4, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born November 18, 1949, in Johnstown. 1967 graduate of Greater Johnstown High School. Preceded in death by mother, Dorothy Teeter; special mother-in-law, Reba Atwell; infant daughter, Janie Ann; son, Jeffrey; and brothers Warren & Melvin. Survived by her faithful & loving husband of 55 years, Thomas A. Knepper; son, Tommy (Jayme); daughter-in-law, Jennifer; grandchildren Douglas, Nathan, Dana, and Brayden; brothers Alvin, Larry (Kit), Randy (Shirley); sisters Nancy (Lee), Alice (Andy), Sandy (Lou). Jane’s love for her family was unconditional. She was a wonderful wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend to all that knew her. She will be remembered for her smile and laughter. She loved visiting with family and friends while playing games late into the evening. She enjoyed Pepsi and her morning sweets. Bingo was her game, enjoying even more when her grandkids could join in. She had a talent for baking/cooking and everyone always asked for her famous chocolate fudge and ham potpie. Jane could always be found with her husband and grandkids, bargaining at yard sales and thrift stores. Jane’s favorite color was purple and her collection of Snoopy is beyond words. Everywhere you look is a reminder of her love and laughter. She will forever be missed. Service to be held at the Richland Cemetery Mausoleum at the convenience of the family. Pastor John Barichivich will officiate, of Friedens Lutheran Church. Family is being served by Laurel Highlands Crematory at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
