James "Terry" T. McGrath

McGrath, James T. "Terry", 69 of Johnstown, Died suddenly on Dec. 24, 2016,  in Virginia Beach, Va. He was born on January 11, 1947, in Johnstown, PA. Terry was preceded in death by his father, James McGrath and wife, Christine McGrath. He is survived by his mother, Betty McGrath; sisters, Judy (Bob) Murphy and Carole (Henry) Dulak; daughters, Amy (Jeff) Muller, Missie Howell; and Adrienne Figura; Grandchildren, Kayla, Craig, Kara, Jaycee, Brady, and Kaden; Niece Heather (Rick) Gignilliat and their 5 boys whom he had a very special bond; Nephew Rob (Katie) Murphy and their children; Nephews Michael, Steven, and Daniel Dulak; and his best friend of 10 years, Dave Urban and his fiancée Tina; also Neko, his beloved dog. He is a Viet Nam Veteran of the Coast Guard. Terry retired from the Geistown Police Department after 37 years of service. He loved spending his vacations in Virginia Beach with his daughter Amy and son-in-law Jeff  and hanging out with his dog, Neko. Terry was a beloved father, son, uncle, and grandfather. A memorial service will be held at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland,  on Saturday Jan. 14, 2017, at 2 PM.
