James E. McNulty

McNulty, James E., 87, of Richland Township. Died Feb. 3, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Nov. 19, 1927, in Jeanette, PA.  Son of the late James and Ruth (Yahnert) McNulty. Raised by grandparents, Earl and Rosella Yahnert. Also preceded in death by brothers; Robert and William; and sisters Joanne Mills and Betty Ruth Goughnour. Survived by wife of 64 years, Dolores L. “Doddie” (Shaver); sons, Kevin, married to former Cathy Hall, Richland; and Rick and companion, Shelly Bush, Richland; grandchildren, Patrick (Beth), Shana, Chrissy, Jamie (Mark) Smith; great grandchildren, Carter and Nicholas and Hannah and Gabe. Brother of Patricia Derenak, Jean Raspotnik, Roland, Richard, Thomas, Daniel and Mary Catherine Rager. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Navy veteran of WW II and Korea. Retired Vice President of Weber Gas and Welding Supply Co. Patriarch of PatriArc Gas and Welding Supply Co. and Past Chairman of the Johnstown-Altoona Division, AWS. Member of Belmont United Methodist Church, Johnstown Lodge # 538, F&AM, AASR Valley of Altoona, Mounted Patrol and Jaffa Shrine. Honorary Life Member of Daisytown Sportsmen Club. Jim was an avid golfer and a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend who was loved by many. Friends received 2-8 PM Sunday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, and from 10 AM to time of service at 11 AM Monday at Belmont UM Church. Pastor Keith Dunn, officiating. Private entombment at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum. Family suggests donations to Belmont UM Church, 107 Coldren St. Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Jim.
