Plunk, Jack W., 92, of East Taylor Township, went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. Born on September 7, 1920 in Johnstown. Son of Thomas and Mildred (Yeager) Plunk. Preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Dorothy E. (Reighard) Plunk. He is survived by his loving daughter, Linda C. Plunk, East Taylor Township; sister, Dorothy Irene Clawson, Indianapolis, IN, and a nephew, Scott (Chris) Clawson, Indianapolis, IN. Jack was a graduate of Franklin High School and later graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with an Accounting Degree. Jack was a US Army Veteran serving during WW II. He retired from Bethlehem Steel. He was a member of the Conemaugh Grace Brethren Church. Jack enjoyed reading, but especially loved cutting grass and spending time with his family. Friends will be received from 11 A.M. until time of service at 1 P.M. on Saturday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, with the Rev. Richard Horner officiating. Private interment will be at Headrick Union Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to the Conemaugh Grace Brethren Church, 115 Oak Street, Conemaugh, PA 15909 in memory of Jack.
