Jack Garrett Nelson

Nelson – Jack Garrett was born on October 5, 2015 and was taken home to the Lord on October 6, 2015. Son of William G. “Manny” Nelson and Tiffany L. (Hillegass) Saracena both of Hornerstown. In addition to his parents he is survived by his sisters, Brooklynn R., Amber M., Kyleigh N., and Samantha J Nelson all of Hornerstown; maternal grandfather, Roy P. (Diane) Hillegass Sr., East Taylor Township; maternal grandmother, Patricia A. Owens, and maternal step grandfather, Alex Lermineau both of East Taylor Township; maternal great grandmother, Dorothy Lermineau, Beaverdale, PA; paternal grandmother, Tammy L. Almaguer and paternal step grandfather, David T. Glover, both of Hornerstown; paternal great grandmother, Connie L. Nelson, Johnstown; aunts, Stephanie, wife of Michael Winkelman, East Conemaugh Borough, Rita, wife of Kevin Fournier, Jersey Shore, PA, Faith “Ti Ti” Nelson, Las Vegas, NV; uncles, Roy Hillegass Jr., East Conemaugh Borough, Ryan, married to the former Samantha Pritt, East Taylor Township, Terry “TT” Hillegass and Joseph Hillegass, both of East Taylor Township, Severo “Pookie” Almaguer Sidman, and Osmar “Ossie” Almaguer, Dale Borough. Also survived by numerous cousins. Even though Jack’s life was short, he brought a tremendous amount of love and joy to his whole family. Family and friends will be received from 2 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First Street, Conemaugh.
