Foust â Jack D. Sr., 84, East Taylor Township, went to be with the Lord on July 15, 2014 at the Holidaysburg Veterans Hospital. Born on October 10, 1929 in Johnstown, son of Irvin Sr. and Amanda (Lewis) Foust. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy L. (Grove) Foust; sons, Jay Michael and Todd William; sisters, Elizabeth Garland and Roxy Grove and brother, Irvin Jr. He is survived by his loving children, Carolyn, wife of John Miller, Johnstown, Edward, married to the former Donna Adams, TX, and Jack Jr., married to the former Cathy Gasior, East Taylor Township; grandchildren, Katie, Jack III, Ed Jr., Amanda, and Aaron; several great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Meredith, East Taylor Township and several nieces and nephews. Jack was a US Army Veteran serving with the 82nd Airborne Division during the Korean War and later with the Air Force Reserve. He retired from Bethlehem Steel after 36 years of service as an electrician. Jack was a member of the Vinco Brethren Church; life member of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jack loved the outdoors and will be remembered for the powder horns and stock work he completed for friends. Friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Saturday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, with the Rev. Wes Lewis officiating. Entombment will be at Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum.
