Irma E. Benson

Benson, Irma E., 93, of Richland.  Went to be with the Lord Sept. 14, 2016, at Arbutus Park Manor.  Born Aug. 22, 1923, in Johnstown.  Daughter of the late Lowman and Mildred (Tozer) Ling.  Also preceded in death by husband, Robert E. Benson; children, Sharon Benson and Robert Benson; brothers, Clifford and Willard Ling.  Survived by daughter, Lois Jo, wife of Richard Wood, Indiana, PA; siblings, Lois Silk, Southfield, MI; and Ronald (Jean) Ling, Parma, OH; also nieces and nephews.  Graduate of Johnstown High School and Cambria-Rowe Business College.  Retired with 29 years’ service from Penelec.  Member of Faith Chapel.  Friends received 3 – 7 PM Monday and from 10AM to time of service at 11AM Tuesday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
