Irene M. Smith

Smith, Irene M. (Harris), 80, of Johnstown, passed away January 11, 2013 at Golden Living Center-HAIDA in Hastings, PA Born February 11, 1932 in Portage, daughter of Stephen O. and Mary (Schafferanek) Harris.  Preceded in death by parents; and brothers, Stephen and William.  Last member of her immediate family. Survived by loving husband, William F. with whom she was married for over 60 years; and these children; Rona, of Johnstown; William D., married to Stacie (Stercho) of Athens, GA; Karen, married to David Sobonya of VA; six grandchildren, Matthew, Mark, Jeffery, Adam, Megan, and Breonna.  At Irene’s request there will be a private funeral and interment at Richland Cemetery.  Family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland (Online condolences may be posted to www.wharrisfuneralhome.com)
