Brown, Homer A., 90, of Johnstown. Homer entered his heavenly home on April 25, 2015, at DLP Conemaugh Medical Center. Born Mar. 8, 1925, in Johnstown.  He was the 7th of 11 children of the late Edwin Roy and Bess (Allison) Brown. Also preceded in death by his wife, Lois (Rogers) Brown along with 8 siblings. Survived by son; Dennis (Kathy) Brown of Massachusetts; and daughter Alicia of Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren; sisters; Doris Brown of Lancaster, PA and Darlene Printz of Leesburg, FL; and many nieces and nephews scattered throughout the U.S. Also best friends Vern and Deb Henry, Richland. Following high school, Homer served in WWII in the South Pacific. He worked a few years at Lorraine Steel. After 40 years as a mechanic and manager, he retired from the Richland Bowl. Homer attended Faith Chapel on Sunbury St. Relatives and friends are invited to attend viewing from noon to time of funeral service at 1 PM Tuesday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Best friend, Vern Henry, officiating. Military rites at funeral home by Menoher Post 155, VFW Ritual Team. Private interment at Grandview Cemetery. Family suggests donations be directed to Faith Chapel in memory of Homer. (Online condolences may be posted to www.wharrisfuneralhome.com)
