Hilda J. Cemo

Cemo, Hilda Jean, 87, of Richland. Died on November 4, 2011, at Arbutus Park Manor. Born Oct. 25, 1924, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Clair and Charlotte (Hardy) O’Connor. Also preceded in death by husband, George “Buzz” Cemo. Survived by daughters; Carol, wife of Thomas Mock and Mary Jo, wife of Thomas Hockensmith, both of Johnstown.  Grandchildren; Jaime & Evelyn Mock, Jenners; Jason Mock, Johnstown; Justin Mock and Courtney Volpe, Ashburn, VA; Sean Hockensmith, Johnstown; and Kelli & Steven Travis, Penn Run; also 5 Great Grandchildren, Stacey, Curtis, Anthony, Jordyn and Zachary. Sister of Marie, wife of Joe Dona; and Eileen Bassett, both of Johnstown; and Dorothy, wife of James Roscoe, Fort Myers, FL.  Also numerous nieces and nephews.  1942 Graduate of Johnstown High School.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who greatly enjoyed her family who will be sadly missed by many. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown, where she belonged to the Mother’s Club and was involved in many other activities. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, Father David S. Peles, Pastor.  Committal at Grandview Cemetery.  Friends will be received from 8:30 – 10:00 A.M. prior to Mass on Monday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil service will be held.
