Moore, Henry Boyd, “Jake”, 76, of Richland. Died May 10, 2018, at Conemaugh Medical Center. Born Jan. 2, 1942, in Johnstown, Pa. Son of the late Thomas and Daisie (Harbaugh) Moore. Also preceded in death by brother, Thomas, Jr.; and sister, Dixie Weaver. Survived by wife of 46 years, Nancy L (Holt); sons, Jeffrey (Jill Vatavuk); and Shawn Moore; grandchildren, Daniel and Isabelle Moore; also, mother in law, D. Jean (Holt) Pellon, brothers in law, James (Heidi) Holt and Merle Weaver; nephews, Andrew and Austin Holt; and beloved pets, Abbey and Bella. Army Veteran of Vietnam War receiving Bronze Star “V”, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal. Employed by Florence Mining Co. with 18 years’ service, former Richland Mall and retired from Fi-Hoff Concrete, Inc. Member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and Menoher Post 155, VFW Ritual Team. He was an avid hockey fan, especially the Pittsburgh Penguins. Jake loved to garden and the outdoors. Friends received 6-8 PM Friday May 18, 2018, at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland and from 9 o 10 AM time of service Saturday at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Pastor Scott Klimke, officiating. Inurnment at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum with military Rites by Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team.
