Helene L. Roland

Roland, Helene L., 83, of Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. Born on November 17, 1929 in Johnstown, daughter of Lloyd and Clara E. (Sway) Berkey. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul D. Roland and brothers, James and Harry. She is survived by her loving sons, Paul E., married to the former Ruth Martz, Honeybrook, Jeff M. and Rodger A Roland both of Richland; granddaughters, Kimberly (Peter) Bottos, Broomall, PA and Erika (Tom) Curtis, New Holland, PA; great granddaughters; Olivia and Madison; sisters, Dorothy “Dot” Fetzer, Johnstown, Shirley (Doc) Dostal, Mundys Corner, PA and Virginia Jones, Seward, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. Helene enjoyed crocheting and working on crossword puzzles. She loved spending time with her family. Friends will be received from 1 P.M. until time of service at 2 P.M. at on Saturday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Pastor Peter Nordland officiating.
