Helen J. Vann

Vann – Helen J., 86, Geistown, died peacefully at her residence on November 20, 2017. Born March 17, 1931, in South Fork, PA, daughter of the late John Sikora and Mary (Yurechko) Sikora. Also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas O. Vann; siblings, John, Joseph, Nicholas, Mary, Katherine, and Hannah. Survived by loving sons; Robert T. Vann, married to the former Diana Mishler, Westmont, James A. Vann, Geistown, and Larry D. Vann, married to the former Marilyn Volpatti, Canada; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Margaret (Leo) Spodnik, South Fork, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was a homemaker devoted to her husband and family. Her measure was not what she accumulated but what she gave. Helen’s family would like to thank Conemaugh Regional Hospice for their exceptional care and support. At Helen’s request there will be no public viewing. Private entombment will be at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
