Helen M. Pizzino

Pizzino – Helen M., of Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on July 10, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. Born on September 13 in Johnstown, daughter of Joseph and Mary (Pavlich) Maurer. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andrew Pizzino; siblings, Catherine Alt, Martin, Joseph, and Agnes M. Maurer. She is survived by her loving son, John N. and his fiancée, Tina L. Phillips, Richland Township and her son, David A. Phillips, Johnstown; brothers, Peter, Richland Township and Ronald, Davidsville; sister, Patricia, and her fiancé, Thomas Cowher, Riverside; sisters-in-law, Helen and Judy Maurer; numerous nieces, nephews, and God daughter, Tracey, wife of Joseph Eckenrod Jr., Upper Yoder Township. Helen was a graduate of Greater Johnstown High School. She was employed as a supervisor for the Johnstown Credit Bureau and the Richland Giant Eagle. Helen was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She loved her entire family dearly and will be missed by all. Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. on Monday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Committal will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
