Helen LaTulippe

LaTulippe, Helen, L., 86, of Richland Township, passed away on February 24, 2025. Born February 9, 1939, in Johnstown. Daughter of William A. and Marie (Trusch) Vickroy. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward B. LaTulippe; sisters, Marie Devore, Doris Keifline and a brother, Philip Vickroy. Survived by her son, Dr. Steven E., married to the former Gayle Engel, Beaver, PA; daughter, Kathy M. LaTulippe, Richland; grandchildren, Haley and Eli LaTulippe both of Beaver, PA; sister, Eileen Wentz, widow of Delbert, Richland; brother, Leroy, widower of Freda Seitz, Chambersburg, PA and several nieces and nephews. Helen was a 1957 graduate of Westmont Upper Yoder High School. She was a 1961 graduate of Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. Helen was employed for 16 years at Arbutus Manor Nursing Home and later retired from Conemaugh Hospital where she was employed as a Registered Nurse. She attended Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Helen was also a member of the Johnstown Symphony Chorus and the Symphony Auxiliary. She was a PIAA Girls Basketball and Volleyball Official. Helen was a Girl Scout and Boy Scout Leader. She volunteered with various Hospice Programs and the Johnstown Free Medical Clinic and the Johnstown Welcome Center. At Helen's request there will be no public viewing; however, family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 10 a.m., Friday, April 11, 2025 at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. officiating. Inurnment at Richland Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Humane Society of Cambria County, 743 Galleria Drive, Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Helen.
