Gall – Helen L., 93, Richland Township, formerly of Windber, went to be with the Lord on December 19, 2016 at the Church of the Brethren Home. Born on March 15, 1923 in Windber, daughter of Phillip and Malura (Mickle) Gore. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Julius Gall; son, David T.; daughter-in-law, Donna (Allmond) Gall; brother, Robert, and sister, Betty Hoffman. She is survived by her loving children, Gene E., married to the former Dawn Long, Bedford, Richard C. and his significant other, Ruth Border, both of Windber, Larry L., married to the former Ann (Lechak), Richland Township, and Sally A. Longinotti, Columbia, MD; grandchildren, Gene, Ryan, Jason, Larry, and Hope Gall and Julia Loginotti; great granddaughter, Autumn Gall and several nieces and nephews. Helen was a graduate of Windber High School. She was employed at the former Windber Electric Company as a secretary. Helen was one of the original founders of Faith Mission Church in Windber, where she played the piano for many years. She was a member of the Life Church, Windber. Helen enjoyed baking and cooking, but especially loved spending time with her entire family. Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Pastor Richard Smith officiating.
