BARTA---Helen J. “Jean,” 85, Richland, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2024 at Memorial Medical Center. Born February 13, 1939, in Elton, daughter of Edward and Sydney Blattenberger. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, Marlin E. Rosbaugh Jr., second husband, Clement Barta; daughter, Tina Jean Rosbaugh; and granddaughter, Andrea. Survived by sons, Marlin E. Rosbaugh and wife, Sandy, Washington; and Edward M. Rosbaugh, Richland; grandchildren, Alisha, Ronald, Krista; great-grandchildren, Lykaios, Siprianna and Syvina. Jean was a very active member of Crossroads Community Church, Richland. During her life she enjoyed camping with her family and friends. She helped with preparation for meals at the church and care of the church building. She excelled at plastic canvas crafts and needlepoint and loved making plastic canvas Easter baskets for the children at church. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Wednesday March 20, 2024 at Crossroads Community Church, 1259 Scalp Avenue, Richland, with Pastor Tom Croyle officiating. Private committal, Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family suggests memorial contributions to Crossroads Community Church for their mission projects in memory of Helen J. “Jean” Barta.
